Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address, name (optional), and an encrypted password. If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from those services.

When you use the platform, we store the data you enter: bets, streams, bankroll figures, and preferences. We also collect usage data like page views and feature usage to improve the product.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and improve the service
  • To send transactional emails (welcome, bet notifications, trial reminders)
  • To detect and prevent abuse or security threats
  • To calculate aggregated, anonymous statistics (like overall platform accuracy)

3. What We Don’t Do

  • We never sell your personal data to third parties
  • We never share your betting data with bookmakers
  • We never show ads or share data with advertisers
  • We never make your bets, streams, or strategies visible to other users (unless you explicitly enable collaboration)

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Neon (cloud). Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Sessions use encrypted JWT tokens. All connections use HTTPS. We apply security headers and rate limiting on all endpoints.

5. Third-Party Services

  • Stripe — handles payments. We never see or store your card details.
  • Resend — sends transactional emails on our behalf.
  • Vercel — hosts the application.
  • Google / Facebook — only if you choose to sign in via OAuth.

6. Cookies

We use a single httpOnly session cookie (bt_session) to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party cookies.

7. Your Rights

You can export your data, update your information, or delete your account at any time from Settings. If you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll notify you via email for significant changes.
